WORKS IN PROGRESS
THE JANUS PROJECT
A series of violent murders are taking place and, despite their best efforts to apprehend the killer, the authorities are at a loss as to how to apprehend the murderer and put a stop to the slaughter.
Detective Inspector Richard Crossman, a vape-smoking career homicide detective is assigned to the case, but the killer doesn't leave any evidence at his crime scenes until he makes a mistake whilst killing victim number three, Eloise Hudson, and leaves his DNA behind.
But the DNA isn't in the system, which is impossible.
Elijah Boniface, Chief Forensic Officer, suggests an innovative and radical solution.
After the Post-Terraform Wars, Judd Witherspoon is happy to have settled down as part of the peaceful community who live at Paradise Cove. In fact, he's so comfortable that he's found love, got married, and has a daughter.
But, perhaps naming a place Paradise Cove is just asking for trouble, and trouble arrives from the surrounding desert, armed to the teeth and with a desire to take Paradise Cove for itself.
Judd and his fellow Covians have no choice but to take up arms again and fight for their new found way of life.
But at what cost?
